We have snow! Yesterday it snowed a bunch & ended up being a snow day. I honestly could live without the snow, but it does make for some pretty photos. It also meant a bit of sewing & spending time inside.
A sneak peek of the project I have been working on and spent most of yesterday nearing finishing…
Hopefully I will be able to finish it up today, since there is still snow on the ground and we have no plans to go out in this anytime soon! :)
This I finished awhile back, but couldn’t post about it right away since it was a gift for a friend with a new baby…
She loves western, so this was absolutely perfect fabric for her little boy’s baby blanket. I love making these simple blankets for new babies, it is so simple. Just 2 pieces of soft flannel & some pretty stitching :)
Oh and I thought I would share how Pounce is spending the cold snowy days – although to him every day is nice & warm as long as there is sunshine streaming in the windows :)

Oh I just love the western flannel fabric! This will be such a great thoughtful and useful gift, very very nice of you:)
enjoyyour snowstorm!
I love the decorative stitch that you used on the baby blanket.
i love the christmas blanket! how much fun. wish i had done something productive on my snow day!
I’m OFFICIALLY the only person I know with a blog in the PNW who hasn’t blogged the weather…. LOL. Nice pictures. I REALLY like the prints in the first one and the baby blanket is *adorable*
The snow is kind of strange around here. But it does allow for some guilt-free sewing.
of all of the year i spent in seattle, snow was ever so rare. enjoy. sewing well done!
Enjoy the snow – love that cowboy fabric!
We only caught a bit of the snow before we left. I so love to sew and look out the window.
