giveaway winners + a blog break

On Friday we moved into our new place, which somewhat explains my absence around here… I have also been under the weather, not exactly the best timing ever on getting sick since there is so much going on. I wanted to stop in here though to announce the winners of the giveaway :)

I am going to take a bit of a blogging break this week and probably into next week a bit… There is quite a lot going on, but I will be back middle of next week :)

Still working on packing & organizing over here (something I am not particularly good at)… At least I have some fun stuff like painting & decorating to look forward to :)

I found a couple more things in my studio that I thought someone else might appreciate more than me.

Some lovely Debbie Bliss Pure Cotton yarn in 2 shades… (The one on the right is a full skein, but the other 2 are not quite complete skeins.)

And an apron I made, but never wore (except to take a picture)…

Don’t mind the wrinkles, I am moving so ironing is not high on my list of priorities :)

packing & a giveaway

No I am not shipping Axel express, he is definitely a keeper :) Actually he is helping me pack because we are moving. (Well his kind of helping at least…) We are just moving across the city from our apartment into a townhome. Not a big move, but enough to keep me busy.

While we love our current apartment, it is definitely going to be lovely living in our new place. Lately, I can hardly hear myself think during the day due to construction going on right outside our window. (They are building another big apartment building behind ours…) The move is going to be wonderful, I will still have a studio & in fact I will have a studio completely to myself! :) Ben gets a garage and a little more room for his own hobbies. So we are very excited! I expect there might be a few decorating posts in the next month or so… I am already picking out paint colors and quite excited to do a bit more decorating :)

Along with packing stuff up, I am trying to get rid of a few things too so I thought maybe I would do a couple of giveaways this week. The first giveaway is some lightly read copies of books that I enjoyed and thought it would be fun to pass along…
