Thank you for all your lovely comments welcoming me back to blogging! :) I really missed having a space to record my creative adventures and just life, so it is quite lovely to have a new space for that again. I am still catching up on everyone else’s blogs, since I really didn’t do much blog reading in the last couple months. It is lovely to see what all of you have been up to :)

Today I went with a few friends out to tea to celebrate my birthday. I love going out for afternoon high tea, so much fun! We all got dressed up and went to this cute tea house in Seattle. The tea I had was absolutely delicious & a perfect way to celebrate a birthday. It felt like today was my birthday actually & not next week like it really is. Last night Ben humored me and we stayed up really late watching old tv episodes & then this morning he made me a delicious breakfast, then I went to tea with my friends this afternoon. A very lovely way to spend a day!

  1. What a great (pre)birthday! Did you go to Queen Mary? Oh, look at that, it’s imprinted right on the silver. Never mind. Anyway, I went there a few years ago with friends and we had a wonderful time. Another good one is Elizabeth & Alexander’s at Country Village in Bothell, if you’re checking out local tearooms. :-) (There is also a lovely quilt/fabric shop in Country Village…I’m just sayin’.)

  2. ooh! Tea parties are fun! There is a little town close-by to my home that has an Indian teahouse and my friends and sisters and I all enjoy going there every once in awhile for a real tea party!

I’m glad you enjoyed yourself and I hope you have a lovely birthday!

  3. Happy Birthday! The tea looks fantastic. I’d love to visit your teahouse, except Diet Coke in a teacup for me, please!
