So even though yesterday was a not so great day, I am almost finished piecing together this quilt top. In fact it might be a record for me, how fast this quilt has come together so far… It is funny how sometimes crafting & sewing goes in such spurts for me. I get these days where all I do practically is sew, and then I have a week where I don’t have any crafting time. Does anyone else share in this? I definitely prefer the weeks where I get in at least a little bit that is for sure. :)
So instead of crafting to share today, I thought I would share a sneak peek of a recent family photo session I did for one of my good friends & her family. Thanks L! It was so much fun to do this shoot! :)
I just love when families have this great dynamic & you can really see that they care about each other. This is definitely one of those families!
This little girl just absolutely loves her aunt, so it was fun to get some of the two of them together. So sweet!
This last one is my very favorite shot from the session, so I just had to make a little storyboard up to showcase it. I hope they like it too! :)

What a great smiley family and I just love the little girls smile, especially the one where she’s on her daddy’s back. So cute!
What a beautiful display. Any family would be lucky to have such a gorgeous display of family photos. Very natural poses; very natural photos. Great job! Wish I was closer.
