Glad we are friends and actually not just virtual.

I love the idea of all the dishes not matching, but going together. I think it makes things more personal and interesting and homey while still being classy!
And I know what oyu mean about having fabric you just can't cut into. I find that perhaps a few months or even a year down the road though you aren't as afraid to ''hurt'' it and find a perfect project for it. Not that I've had much time for sewing lately, although I wish I did!
I'm always excited when I see that you've posted again. You have such a pleasing aesthetic to your art and posts. I'm looking forward to seeing what you've finished!

This was a most thought provoking post. I think it is wise when blogging to take a step back sometimes and examine why one is doing it and whether or not you are getting what you want out of it. I enjoy blogging to be in touch with other crafters.

Your photography of these cups is so lovely! It is so inspiring to see how you can take some pretty and simple objects and photograph them so pleasingly that you see their wonderful beauty!

Sometimes I forget about blogging for myself and start thinking about comments, too. But keep up the good work, and the comments will come. :) Your blue and white teacups make me want to start collecting blue and white dishes. :)

Your blue and white collection is such a fun idea! I agree about using the things you love--there doesn't seem to be much point in having something so lovely if you don't use it.
