quilt in progress

May 12, 2010

I love working on quilts, it might be my favorite type of crafting/sewing, but I don’t like how long each one takes me to make. Although to be honest I have about 10 smaller projects just sitting on my shelf in various stages of completion that I could finish quickly & I never seem to find the time for those either, so maybe it is just me :)  This one is going to be queen sized and it is for our bed. That way we have 2 quilts to either layer or switch between depending on the temperature…

I thought I was going to border the block in the orange & then my grandma’s feedsack, but I have a slightly different plan at this point. Now I just need time to actually work on it :)

So awesome that you are using Grandma’s fabric for real and usable projects! I like how you mix the old with the new and both of them become exponentially more awesome. :)
