I seem to disappear from this space frequently lately… I really don’t mean to, life just gets crazy :) I have been doing a little bit of sewing & quilting lately though, along with photography & a lot of business stuff (which takes up most of my time right now to be honest, but I love it :).

Saturday I headed over to the Seattle Modern Quilt Guild sewing meeting. I got a little bit of work done on the quilt I have been working on lately & almost have the top finished – I just have to add a border and the top will be complete. I have no idea how I want to quilt this one, so that process might take me awhile to decide on :)

We also each worked on making a block or two for a quilt for one of the girls in the group. She just had a baby & we are going to give her a quilt in honor of her newest little one :) This was my block…

Katie was sweet enough to take a photo of me holding it. Carrying my sewing machine is enough to haul around, so I didn’t take my camera to the meeting :) For more photos though go take a look at Katie’s blog :)
