I am making a quilt for my sister (it is all cut out & ready to go) and picked out a fun pattern to use for it. However, due to some questions about the directions & the pattern I decided to test the pattern before making my sister’s quilt. Luckily I love how the test quilt turned out!I used warm & natural for the batting (even though the instructions were very specific about using a different kind of batting – some polyester batting which I refuse to use) and it turned out just fine. Even better than if I had used their suggested batting! I did learn a couple things in the process too. Like the instructions were ridiculously long & wordy. So I wrote down the necessary steps on index cards, which will make the next quilt a lot easier!
Front & back of the quilt…And since I have no use for a quilt this size (it measures approx 29 in x 37 in – perfect for a little baby quilt), I thought I would do a little giveaway. If you want this cute quilt for yourself or to give to someone who could use it -
