So I love pinterest (that is no secret :)… I have found new blogs through some beautiful & inspiring photos, been inspired to sew & create new things, bought clothes that I love based on pins, and found plenty of decorating inspiration for our home… (To see my pinterest boards :)
So it is no surprise that I used one of the tutorials I found on pinterest to do a little crafting the other morning… For awhile now I have wanted a case or cover for my iphone & preferably something cute, but I couldn’t convince myself to take the plunge & buy something I might love for a week and then get sick of… So when I saw this tutorial, I jumped on amazon right away & bought a clear case. (I have the iphone 4s & this case seems pretty good so far. It has gotten a few scratches, but none that are noticeable & I am pretty tough on my phone…)
Ta da… My new iphone custom case! :)
It did take a little bit of practice to get just the right shape & the right cutout for the camera… My tips are to follow her instructions & trace the actual phone (not the case), it works better. Also I used a hole punch to get the camera cut out started, but found a small/sharp scissors worked best for finishing it. (Instead of hole punching out the entire thing.)
Oh & since it doesn’t use a lot of scrapbooking paper, if you buy the double sided kind you can get two different looks out of one sheet! (The grey is a double sided paper that I bought.)
