The Weekend in Photos

Back a little sooner than I expected :) Things are still crazy around here, so posting may still be sparse but we will see… Anyways that is life right :)

Our weekend was full of painting my sewing studio/office, house work, taking care of the sweet pup, and photography work for me. In between though there were little moments of life to enjoy :) Thought I would share some of those…

Flowers from our yard & our neighbors…

Enjoying the sunshine & fresh air on our sun porch… (There is hardly ever room to sit down out here when it is warm, since the three kitties tend to take the comfy seats :)

Helping with the yard work ;)

Our four little creatures

I did a little studio session for all 4 creatures in the house at the beginning of December. I had kind of planned on trying to send out Christmas cards, but I got sick & life got so busy. So instead I thought I would just blog these :)

Our sweet, energetic, playful Kairo…

Our darling, audacious, talkative Izze…

Our handsome, confident, caring Axel…

Our adorable, gregarious, lion Pounce…

And just in case you think we have 4 calm animals, Kairo is definitely still a crazy puppy & the cats don’t always cooperate :) There were a few outtakes…

(Although sometimes the outtakes end up being the most fun :)

Kairo has grown a bit since these photos & both of his ears now stick straight up, but I love these since they are the only studio photos I have had the chance to take of him so far :) I think these were also the first studio pics I have taken of Izze as well! I guess I need to get to taking more of everyone! :)

Sweet Izze

Our sweet Izze! This little one is a handful (she gets into things, constantly talks – that might be an under exaggeration, demands attention at all hours of the day and night, isn’t sure what to think of Pounce & Axel still, and insists upon being carried like a baby on my hip), but she has added so much to our family…

She has to be one of the most expressive little creatures ever and I wouldn’t trade her for anything! (Even when she talks all night long & wakes us up at 3 in the morning :)

Of course being awoken in the middle of the night is going to be normal over here in just a couple days, because our puppy arrives home this week! I plan to keep blogging though, since I am sure there will be lots of puppy stories & photos to post – and no I don’t plan on turning this into a pet blog ;)
